Shellie
She thought an injury was the end of her running career, now she’s stronger than ever.
In 2016 Shellie developed knee pain that kept her from doing one of her favorite things: running. She tried rest, PT, and everything else her doctor recommended, but could find no relief.
After evaluating her it became clear that Shellie was dealing with some classic runner’s overuse injuries. We formulated a plan and after several months of the appropriate corrective exercises, and some general total body strength training, her knees were feeling better than ever!
Since then she has continued training and has gone on to run faster, and farther, than ever before.

Dawn
Finding relief after years of pain and illness.
With fibromyalgia, narcolepsy, and several ruptured discs in her low back, Dawn spent years in debilitating pain and was unable to do the things that she enjoyed.
When we met I was encouraged to see that there were pain-free movements that we could perform and we began very slowly.
It took time, patience, and effort but in a manner of months Dawn’s pain was more manageable and she was able to do the things she loves again, like walking with her wife, playing with their cats, and fixing things around the house.

As a bodybuilder, and lifelong athlete, Russell accumulated a number of injuries over the years that caused him recurring pain and discomfort in his knees, shoulder, and low back.
An incredibly successful personal trainer himself, Russell had neither the time nor desire to build a program for himself after programming for his clients all week; but he knew that a standard cookie-cutter program wouldn’t cut it with his nagging issues.
When the time came to compete again, then, Russell decided to hire me to write his programming for him, and together we created a program that not only avoided aggravating his pain but helped to alleviate it as well.
